Context and assignment
To improve the performance and sustainability of its production systems, SEN DJOLOFF FARM called on CEADSA SARL for an integrated agropedological study combining field soil characterisation, laboratory physico-chemical analyses and scientific interpretation of the results.
Approach and expertise deployed
CEADSA applied an integrated approach to turn soil and analytical data into operational knowledge for agronomic decision-making. The assignment covered:
- characterisation of soil units and production systems;
- interpretation of physico-chemical analyses and assessment of soil fertility;
- identification of constraints, agronomic potential and degradation risks;
- development of tailored guidance on fertilisation, water management, use of organic matter and soil conservation.
